This September, we exhibited at IAA Mobility in Munich for the second time – and once again, it proved to be a rewarding experience. The event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and automotive enthusiasts from around the world, and we were thrilled to share our latest developments in in-cabin analysis with such an engaged audience.

Two-Row DOMS Demo

At our booth, we showcased a two-row Driver and Occupant Monitoring System (DOMS) demo, offering visitors a firsthand look at the broad range of capabilities our technology delivers across active safety, passive safety, and user experience.

Compliance with current and upcoming regulations remains a cornerstone of our demo, featuring driver monitoring functionalities aligned with GSR requirements, Euro NCAP protocols and China GB/T, covering key aspects such as distraction and drowsiness detection. These features continue to be critical for improving road safety and meeting the demands of modern automotive standards.

However, we received the most feedback regarding our passive safety innovations designed for Euro NCAP 2026 including features such as:

  • Seatbelt detection, including recognition of improper seatbelt use cases
  • Occupant classification, enabling tailored passive safety responses
  • Out-of-position detection, ensuring optimized protection in real-world scenarios

The smoothness and robustness of these functions stood out to our visitors leading to engaging discussions about the future of occupant protection.

Having high rates of accuracy of Child Seat Detection on both rows of our demo, the feature detects not only the presence of the child seat but also the direction of the child seat and the presence of a child within the seat, which is critical for airbag suppression use cases.

Inspiring Discussions at IAA Mobility

In addition to the exhibition, the conference program at IAA Mobility offered many thought-provoking talks and panels. Topics such as the future of mobility, digitalization, and sustainability were at the forefront of discussions, highlighting how the industry is collectively addressing the challenges of creating safer, cleaner, and more user-centred solutions. These conversations further emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping the mobility ecosystem of tomorrow.

Looking Ahead

Our time at IAA Mobility reaffirmed how important it is to not only meet today’s requirements but also to continuously plan for the next generation of in-cabin safety and user experience. The positive feedback we received motivates us to continue our innovation efforts and working closely with our partners to bring these innovations into production vehicles.

We thank everyone who visited our booth, shared their thoughts, and engaged with us at the event. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and drive the future of in-cabin innovation together.
